We consider architecture, landscape, flow, function and materiality together to create homes that feel more connected, more intentional and unmistakably yours.

My path to design started with my own home.

Long before SolGrace became a design practice, I was the person who couldn't stop imagining what a space could become, moving things around, tackling projects myself and learning by doing. Sharing those projects online eventually grew into a community, my first design client and, in 2023, a leap from an 18-year career in marketing and philanthropy into full-time design.

Today, I work with clients to transform interiors, exteriors and often the relationship between the two. My approach begins with seeing the potential in a space beyond what exists today, then shaping that vision around the people who actually live there.

I still believe good design should make you feel more capable in your own home. You should feel comfortable asking the question, picking up the power tool and walking confidently into the hardware store.

At the heart of SolGrace is a simple idea: your home should feel unmistakably like you.

Often times a garage door can be an after thought during a renovation… they’re costly and you figure you can just paint what you have because it’s still working (most of the time) right?

This smaller bathroom incorporated a few decisions that made a big impact… 1) In removing the bathtub / shower combo, we were able to create a curbless transition. This one adjustment created a seamless transition making the space feel larger. 2) We chose to install the shower valve on the opposite wall from the fixture, creating additional ease in use with the fixed shower wall. 3) Does anything elevate a bathroom like a wall-mounted fixture against a Zellige backsplash? I think not.

Our clients wanted a full home transformation and that’s exactly what they got. Our #eichleronnova project is unrecognizable from her flat, one-note before and we have some happy clients on our hands.

The mid-century modern style of Eichler homes lends itself to being able to go a bit bold on paint colors. What do you think of the moody green?

This project was so special, a refresh for a couple who had raised a family and wanted to enjoy their space in a new way.

Eichler homes are known for their unique atrium spaces, but so often they become overgrown and unusable. By clearing out the space and bringing in new hardscape and landscape we were able to set the tone for the gorgeous @terraoutdoorliving Sonora Lounge chairs, loveseat and Aspen fire table.

At SGD clients are the core of what we do. Each project is uniquely customized to the needs of the client and the experience is based on our deeply personal process.

Our #eichleronnova project was an exercise in embracing change, pushing outside of your comfort zone and ultimately what we were left with was what felt like a new home for our clients. Styling the space for a final reveal was the icing on the cake, and frankly my favorite part of the process.

In 2020 I stared posting about my home projects @solgracehome. In 2021 I booked my first client to design and manage an exterior remodel. In 2023 I left an 18-year long career to leap into full-time entrepreneurship. What will 2025 bring?
